Hughes Auctions is thrilled to present an enchanting collection of original Disney animation cels, original productions drawing, artwork and limited edition collectibles.
The highlight of this auction are the original animation cels and production drawings from classic Disney animated films including Peter Pan (1953), Sleeping Beauty (1959), The Sword in the Stone (1963), Mary Poppins (1964), Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983), and The Beast from Beauty and the Beast (1991). You will find original art of many beloved characters, including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, The Beast, The Pearly Band, Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty/Princess Aurora, Snow White, Roger Rabbit, Jessica Rabbit, Eddie Valiant, Scrooge McDuck, Pete, Wart/King Arthur, Merlin, and Sir Kay.
Also included are signed and numbered lithographs by renowned Disney artists John Hench, Charles Boyer and Marc Davis, as well as many limited edition Walt Disney Classics Collection Figures and Completer Pins.
Rare vintage items include a Davy Crockett Original 1955 Disneyland Frontierland Cowhide Sign, Uncirculated Disney Dollars Donald Duck $10 Series 2003 w/ Envelope, Disneyland 50th Anniversary Leather Bomber Jackets, a 1937 Mickey Belt Buckle, and more!
