Founder, Larry Hughes, helped ignite the re-birth of Pasadena, California’s Old Town when he opened his first storefront, Riff Raff, on Holly Street in 1978.
He specialized in vintage California Pottery and 1930s through 1950s collectibles.

California Art and Antiques
Larry pioneered the Antique Mall concept when he opened Holly Street Bazaar in Old Town Pasadena, which was becoming a mecca for collectors around the world.
With over 50 dealers selling California art and antiques, Holly Street Bazaar was regularly featured in travel magazines and international collector’s guides.

1990
Antiques and Vintage Stores
Larry’s son Todd began working with his dad as a youth and by the time he was in his early 20s, they opened neighboring antiques and vintage stores on Fair Oaks in Pasadena, Larry Hughes Antiques and Inorbit.
Larry then opened a shop on Mission Street in South Pasadena and Todd ran a neighboring gallery specializing in contemporary art.

Hughes launches its popular Altadena Warehouse bringing fresh stock of antiques and vintage collectibles from estate all over Los Angeles to shoppers.
Monthly warehouse sales are expanded to a second location in Downtown Los Angeles. Monthly sales at each location offer consigners and buyers a unique estate sale experience featuring evening events with live music and refreshments.

Shop this 3-day multi-estate sale at 2910 Denby Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90039 with fresh finds from estates all over Los Angeles. We purchase entire estates, pack them up, and bring them directly to our new indoor/outdoor compound, located in Frogtown, right around the corner from Wax Paper, Colombe Coffee Roasters, Spokes Cafe, and half a block off the Los Angeles River Bike Trail.
