The Hughes Redesign & New Online Store

We like redecorating as much as you do – Hughes Estate Sales announces our new website, logo and estate sales online store!

Our new website is thrillingly up-to-date and ready to take us into the future. The site is “responsive” and will look and feel like it was designed for whatever device you’re using it on. Beautiful full-frame images fill the entire screen and our newly designed galleries allow for easy navigation whether you're clicking or swiping. There are many new features like easy uploading of images for our sellers and a Reseller login for buyers, not to mention this blog.

Why the new logo? We have been around since 1978, but we are also a young and innovative estate sale company. Working closely with the incredibly talented team at TRÜF Creative (Santa Monica), we wanted to convey our history, as well as our desire to innovate and evolve.

Since Hughes has been selling on eBay for 15 years, we thought it was high time we created our own estate sales online store to reach a worldwide audience. Our online store will offer “Spotlight Sales” as well as “Current Inventory.” Like our Showroom Sales, Spotlight Sales will have merchandise available for a limited time. Because all of our merchandise is one-of-a-kind, once you put an item in your Cart, you will have 20 minutes to make the purchase before it goes back in the store. California Resellers are encouraged to set up an account and shop tax-free.

What else is new? We have a redesigned email blast with bigger and bolder images that will link directly to our Buy page if you see something you like. We will also be using text alerts to offer special discounts for both our Showroom events and estate sales online store, so be sure to sign up!
